As a Package Sorter, you will work in a fast-paced sortation facility. Your primary mission is to intercept sealed packages coming down the conveyor chutes, read their geographic routing labels, and sort them onto the correct outbound pallets or carts. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• High-Speed Sorting: Visually identify destination zip codes and routing codes on fast-moving packages, sorting them accurately into designated chutes, carts, or gaylords.
• Pallet Building: Expertly stack boxes onto wooden pallets to maximize space and ensure stability. Use shrink-wrap machines or manual wrap techniques to secure the pallets for safe transport.
• Fluid Loading: Utilize manual and electric pallet jacks to maneuver heavy, completed pallets directly into outbound semi-trailers, ensuring trucks depart strictly on schedule.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with your lane partners to prevent conveyor jams during peak volume rushes, jumping in to help clear bottlenecks instantly.
